Truss Uncensored!
The rich history of the SZIN festival in Hungary goes all the way back to 1968. Over the years the followed, it became well-known as the one and only “Uncensored” festival that allowed both bands and the audience to play, wear, do, and drink what they wanted without penalty. A big deal from 1968 – 1989, when censorship was the norm under the Communist regime in Hungary. From 1990 to present day, the festival continued with its tradition of uncensored freedom, love, and music.
TAF’s long-time customer Chameleon fully embraced the spirit of this year’s SZIN festival with the provision of a custom-designed, free-flowing TAF support structure that supported lights, sound, and a 29.5 x 26.2 ft (9 x 8 m) LED panel. As a testament to our claim that TAF truss allows for fast and easy buildup, a total of only 5 hours were required to build the entire structure.
The support structure measured an impressive 97.8 ft (29.8 m) long x 40 ft (12.2 m) wide x 21 ft (6.4 m) high and utilized TAF’s FT34, HT34, and TT34 series’ truss in its construction.
