Celebrating a Legacy in Power Generation
TAF’s PT34 truss was recently utilised by our client Michon Ltd. to build a 38.52 x 31.1 x 19.65 ft (11.74 x 9.48 x 5.99 m) structure that supported unique overhanging lights at an event space in the UK’s last coal-fired power plant, Ratchliffe-on-Soar Power Station. The event celebrated the closing of the power station, along with the positive impact it had on the local community and workforce over its many years of operation.
The more than 200 high-profile guests who attended the event included various leaders in the industrial sector and the UK’s Minister for Energy, Michael Shanks MP.
