A Unique Spin on LOVE in Serbia
TAF TT and FT series truss was recently used by TAF’s long-time and highly value customer Chameleon to construct a unique circular support structure for the “DJ Stage” at the Ljubav Festival in Belgrade, Serbia.
The Ljubav (“LOVE”) Festival was an event held in Belgrade, with a special music and activity program that is family-friendly. Proceeds from ticket sales, which were purchased via a paid sms message to festival organizers, went to buy food for the needy.
Chameleon’s concept for the DJ Stage was to have it as a 360° event, with a TAF support structure wrapping around the eye-catching circular performance area. The goal of its design was to be attractive during the day, without help from LED screens and lights, and then boost the energy in the evening with moving head lights, mirror balls, ambient light, and smoke effects.
TAF TT34, TT44, and FT44 truss was used to construct the support structure, which stood tall at 26,8 ft (8 meters) high and provided performers with a generous stage area with its 37,7 ft (10.6 m) width. The standout design featured two concentric circles that hovered above the stage, supporting moving head light fixtures, smoke generators, and other effects. The perimeter of the outer circle measured 32,8 ft (10 meters), while the perimeter of the inner circle measured 19,6 ft (6 meters).
Chameleon was happy to have reached its goal of creating a high impact stage design that turned excitement up to 11 and provided attendees with a memorable setting that highlighted the performances held on it throughout the day and night.
